Delhi is an Asian female elephant, born in 1983.

Delhi was transferred from the wild in Vietnam to the Usti nad Labem zoo in the Czech Republic in 1986, where she spent her entire life, until she arrived in EHEES, on August 24, 2022

When Delhi arrived in EHEES, Gandhi was already there. They both are best friends now.

Gandhi is an Asian female elephant, born in 1969.

Gandhi was transferred from the wild in Asia and moved to Givskud Zoo in Denmark, in 1973. Gandhi was later moved to the former Pontscorff Zoo, in France, in 1998.

Gandhi arrived in her new home, EHEES, in October 2021. She discovered there several hectares of varied landscape, everything you need for a peaceful retirement.


Then, Delhi arrived in EHEES in August 2022. They are now best friends!
